Peachy inspiration shoot at Chaucer Barn

Heavenly venue in North Norfolk. I had the pleasure of shooting Britt and Maciu on this gorgeously sunny day. 

Nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, Chaucer Barn is a dream location for anyone planning a wedding or styled shoot. Its rustic charm, coupled with the lush greenery surrounding the barn, offers a serene and picturesque setting for romantic celebrations. Recently, we brought this stunning venue to life with a peachy-colored styled shoot, featuring a beautiful Fijian couple who infused the session with warmth, culture, and undeniable elegance.

The Concept: A Peachy Dream

The inspiration for this styled shoot revolved around soft peach hues and warm tones, blending seamlessly with the natural beauty of Chaucer Barn. The peach palette brought a sense of lightness and joy, while still feeling timeless and romantic. It was the perfect contrast to the deep greens of the Norfolk countryside and the rustic charm of the barn's exposed brick and wooden beams.

The vision was simple: to create a modern, romantic shoot with a soft yet vibrant color scheme. Peach, in its many shades, was present in every detail—from the florals to the table settings, and even the couple's attire. The goal was to show how this color can be both bold and subtle, creating a delicate balance of sophistication and warmth.

Chaucer Barn is a true hidden gem in Norfolk. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful gardens, the venue provided the perfect setting for a styled shoot rooted in natural beauty. The barn’s blend of rustic charm and elegant details made it easy to transform the space into a peachy wonderland.

We took advantage of Chaucer Barn’s stunning outdoor areas, starting with the courtyard, where a floral arch adorned in peach roses and soft greenery created a perfect ceremony backdrop. Inside, the barn was dressed with peach and gold accents. The long banquet-style table was draped in soft linens and lined with mismatched candles, creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere.

The lush gardens surrounding Chaucer Barn became the perfect location for the couple's portraits. With the golden hour casting a soft glow over the grounds, the peach tones of the shoot came alive in the natural light, creating ethereal and dreamy photos that felt like a scene from a fairytale.
