Rich REDS AND ROMANCE IN LONDON
A Romantic Wedding Photography Workshop in St John’s Church, London
I believe as a photographer it’s important to have creative days outside of work. It’s great to feel inspired. This workshop's concept revolved around modern luxury aesthetics with a touch of romance. Emma, who modelled so wonderfully, wore a stunning white gown by @hermiabridal, embodied effortless grace against a rich palette of deep red florals. From a grand church setting to intimate, dreamy corners, each scene offered an opportunity to experiment with light, composition, and emotion.

One of the most important aspects of my work is capturing candid moments that tell a couple’s unique story. Through soft, natural lighting and intentional movement, I aimed to move beyond posed perfection, allowing genuine emotions to take center stage. The quiet, reflective moments—the bride sipping a delicate cocktail, lost in thought amongst lush florals—became some of my favorite captures, evoking a sense of intimacy and timelessness.

It’s important to continue to push yourself creatively as a photographer. It’s easy to get stuck in the same poses, the same use of light and stick to your comfort zone. Every detail matters in my photography. The interplay of textures—flowing silk, velvet roses, and soft candlelit shadows—added depth and luxury to my frames. I strive to ensure that every image I create feels like a scene from a beautifully crafted narrative, rich with emotion and artistry.
This workshop reaffirmed my passion for storytelling through wedding photography. It wasn’t just about learning technical skills—it was about pushing creative boundaries and deepening my ability to document love in a way that feels authentic and artistic.
London’s rich history and ever-changing light continue to inspire my work, and remains a favourite muse. If you're searching for a wedding photographer who blends romance, artistry, and an editorial eye, I would love to be part of your journey.
